The National Scientific Agricultural Library of the National Academy of Sciences invites you to visit the exhibition «80th anniversary of the birth of Yefimenko Mykhailo Yakovych, a scientist in the field breeding, selection and reproduction of agricultural animals (doctor of agricultural sciences, professor, corresponding member of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences)», which began to function in reading room No. 1.</p >

 

 

The exhibition presents some works of the scientist:

Biryukova [and others]; Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics. Chubynske: [b. and.], 2013. 56 pp.

The program provides the number and structure of the modern population of the Ukrainian black and white dairy breed. An analysis of the implementation of the previous program was carried out, recommendations were given for the further development of the breed, with the determination of mandatory types of work.

The recommendations summarize methodical approaches to the use of genetic markers in breeding livestock of Ukraine. The principles of carrying out genetic examination of the origin of breeding animals, analysis of the gene pool of breeds and research of genetic processes in populations are outlined.
